400 Years of the Telescope 400years.org/documentary.php Public Television will air a program about 400 Years of the Telescope around April 10, 2009. This site has information about the documentary. Click on the "Interactive" menu item to see links to major observatories around the world. The observatory pages provide more information about each telescope and insight into their operations.
Dark Skies Awareness darkskiesawareness.org This site will inform you about light pollution and give you the information needed to measure the darkness of your sky.
Globe At Night gobe.gov/GaN This site lets you report your observation of the dimmest star you can see in the constellation of Orion. Observations should be made from March 16 - 28, 2009, and reports should be entered by April 7.
